[Service Alert] [Resolved] Student Accommodation Network at our Southend Campus

We had been alerted to an outage that was causing issues with both wired and wireless internet to House 6 at University Square Student Accommodation at our Southend Campus.

ITS and Glide believe that service has been restored to University Square, but are monitoring the situation. If you are still experiencing issues with Student Accommodation Network at University Square, please contact Glide:

Updates:

04/06/2021 8.49am: Glide confirm connectivity restored
04/06/2021 8:48am: ITS attended on site and all devices appear to be working, have reported back to Glide for confirmation
04/06/2021 1.53am: Glide contact on site security team to advise of issue and to start initial investigations
03/06/2021 3.09pm: Glide’s remote monitoring detected a loss of connectivity to all devices at House 6

[Service Alert] We’re performing scheduled maintenance on KX and Accommodation

WORK COMPLETE 7pm

The planned maintenance work has been completed successfully.

The work is now complete and we are monitoring the situation.

We will be performing scheduled maintenance on the KX systems, including Accommodation on Tuesday 20 April from 8.30am to 6pm

Unfortunately you won’t be able to access the KX systems, including Accommodation during this time and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We’ll update you here as soon as the work is finished.
