We continue to monitor the situation and ITS engineers have been working today with the suppliers to find a permanent solution.
For the time being the temporary arrangement remains in place with further work planned for next week.
We will provide updates as this progresses and when it is completed.

The disruption earlier today was caused by a problem with a part of the network equipment and a temporary arrangement is in place to prevent further issues. Our engineers are working with the suppliers engineers to find a permanent solution.
ITS will be monitoring and providing further updates.

The work to fix the problem is ongoing and there may be further disruption to services.

We have identified the cause and rectified the problem. Services are resuming gradually.

We are aware of a network issue that is affecting many system and investigating the root cause.
Many of our services are experiencing issues, including Sharepoint, telephones, RDP, and web page access. Our engineers are investigating urgently.
