Filed under: Networking & Collaboration,Welcome — Tags: , , , , , — Julia Greenwood @ 4:32 pm

As it’s the start of the new academic year we are looking to kick start the University Parents’ Support Network for the year ahead.

“When you return to work after a period of leave it can be hard to manage both your own and others’ expectations about how you will juggle your family and career. I would have found it very helpful to talk through some of the difficult decisions and transitions you have to make in confidence and with someone who had already been through it.” Mother of a 19-month-old

Please join us for our opening event in room 4SB.5.3 (Colchester campus), 1pm-2pm on 26th November and be part of our growing network.Join in on one of the following four discussions:toddler-cry

Learn from others how to avoid them and best deal with them.

Thinking of schools?

How to prepare for your child starting school (primary/secondary or moving schools). What will your child need to know/what do you need to know?
