The Project Managers’ Network is back!

Following the success from our first session, the Network is back and packed full of ideas and presentations to help you to deliver your projects.

What to expect from the January sessiondid-you-know-box

The Project Managers’ Network is meeting on 13 January at 2pm – 3.30pm, in the Ivor Crewe Seminar Room, and you’re all invited. Make sure you book your place now.

This session will focus on the following:

Gaining buy-in

A member of Organisational Development will be coming to talk about gaining buy-in.  You’ll learn top tips for how to use influencing techniques, coaching skills and communication approaches to try and get everyone on board with your project.

Communicating key messages

Internal Communications will be presenting on how to engage with stakeholders, and the mechanisms in place to communicate key project messages.

Cultural/behavioural change

The Programme Manager of the iHR project will also be attending to talk about the programme, in particular how it approached the cultural and behavioural changes the way they did.

Data protection

The Data Protection Officer will be coming to talk about data protection, confidentiality and freedom of information when delivering projects.

There will also be plenty of time for networking, and asking any questions you may have. There will also be a live link-up so that staff members from Southend can attend as well.

Future topics will include

  • change management;
  • procurement;
  • building resilience when faced with change;
  • health and safety within projects;
  • and much, much more

How to book

Future sessions will be held on March 16 at 2pm – 3.30pm in 1N1.4.1, and May 11 at 11am – 12.30pm in 1N1.4.1.  You can book your place by logging into HR Organiser.
