Welcome to the new TEL blog. We’ll be using this site to share information about technology-enhanced learning with staff and students at the University of Essex. All blog posts on the site will be written by members of the Technology-Enhanced Learning Team.
Today, we’d like to share our spring showcase with you. This short video highlights the different types of learning resources that we can create (in collaboration with subject matter experts). This includes customs charts and diagrams, unique graphics and illustrations, and even video content and animations.
Each term, we will be producing a showcase of the learning resources that we have been working on lately. Hopefully, this will give you some inspiration and encourage you to come and talk to us about TEL and the benefits that it can bring.
If you’re interested in starting a project with us, please contact us. Alternatively, you can come to one of our regular Wednesday drop-in sessions. These begin again tomorrow and will run every two weeks. We’re based in the Organisational Development office at the University’s Colchester campus, room 4SB.5.4. The drop-in session starts at 10am and finishes at 2pm. You can arrive whenever you want, and stay for as long as you like.
We can help you with any of the University’s core elearning systems, such as Moodle, and give you advice and support on the best use of technology to enhance teaching, learning and assessment activity.
I hope you enjoy the video.
