Top Lines

Filed under: Southend Bulletin — tmarcu @ 8:56 am

The latest issue of Top Lines is now available.

Top Lines is a regular briefing for all staff from the Vice-Chancellor summarising the key debates and decisions of University Steering Group (USG), Senate, Resources Committee, and Council.

It explains the background, context and rationale for decisions and is an important mechanism for sharing information with staff. All members of University staff are encouraged to subscribe to receive Top Lines direct by emailing the Communications Office and all Top Lines issues are available in the password protected area of the University website.

ASK HR provision 2020/21

Filed under: Southend Bulletin — Nicola Paine @ 8:51 am

Across the University, HR are asking managers and staff to put all enquiries through HRER inbox – hremployeerelations@essex.ac.uk and one of the team will pick up that query and respond.

If staff would like to speak to someone via Zoom, again if they request a meeting or phone call via the above e-mail address, one of the team will respond to them.  Once the team has picked up a query or case they will work with the manager on that matter until it is finalised.
