Bring all the family to the free outdoor cinema season running on the Big Screen every Saturday in August.

Celebrating the wonder of Computer Generated Imagery  (CGI) and animatronics, The Big Screen presents films that mark key milestones in the developments of these techniques which have transformed cinema.

Bring a rug or chairs and settle down for a filmatic feast beginning on Saturday 5 August with the monster of all CGI movies, Jurassic Park. The following Saturday it’s the Pixar classic Toy Story and then, on Saturday 19 August, see the late David Bowie in Labryinth, credited with the first use of a CGI animal.

And on Bank Holiday Saturday 26 August, enjoy family favourite,  Finding Dory.

All the films start at 6.00 pm. Visit for more details.
