Update: Resolved

The problem causing issues for staff using the Door Access Control system (SALTO) has been resolved and access to expected areas has been restored.

Apologies for any inconvenience

Alert

We currently have a problem with data on the Door Access Control system (SALTO) which will stop you accessing doors that use card-based door access control, for example Silberrad Student Centre offices at the Colchester Campus and the Gateway Building/Clifftown Studios at the Southend Campus.

A range of local measures have been put in place as temporary workarounds until this problem has been resolved.

The underlying issue that has caused this problem has been identified and Innovation and Technology Solutions and Estates and Campus Services are working to restore service as quickly as possible.
