Planned Work

As part of our ongoing improvements to our telephony services, we’ve got some planned upgrades happening on 31 March 2021 from 7.00am to 7.30am.

We do not anticipate any disruption, but we will be running without the usual level of resilience for a short period.

We’ll update you here as soon as the work is complete.

[Resolved] Problems annotating FASER submissions

Monitoring 11:35:

We have fixed the problem, and FASER’s online annotation feature is now functioning.

Apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.

Investigating 09:28:

We are currently experiencing some problems with FASER’s online annotation feature, which is preventing markers from annotating submitted work.

We are investigating the problem and will restore the service as soon as possible.

Investigating 12.45pm

We’re currently experiencing a performance issue with iTrent, including People Manager and HR Organiser.

Our team is working to restore normal performance and will post another update as soon as we know more.

[Service Alert] [Resolved] Problems logging in to Moodle

We are aware that some users had difficulty when logging in to Moodle (https://moodle.essex.ac.uk/) between 3:40pm and 3:55pm today (23 March 2021). This issue has now been resolved.
