[Service Alert] Issue with teaching timetable Zoom links missing from Office 365

An issue was identified and the timetabling information has been updated. We are monitoring the situation.

Investigating: 30 November 2020 10.00am

We’re currently investigating reports of an issue with Zoom links not appearing in teaching timetables in Office 365.

We’ll post another update as soon as we learn more.

Please log on to the Online Timetables page https://www1.essex.ac.uk/timetables/login.aspx to retrieve the Zoom links for your teaching schedule until this issue is resolved

[Service Alert] We’re performing scheduled maintenance on iTrent, People Manager and HR Organiser

Commercial Applications will be performing essential system maintenance on Tuesday 17 November 2020 from 1.00pm until 3.00pm. During this time the following services will be unavailable;

  • iTrent
  • HR Organiser
  • People Manager
  • Web Recruitment
  • External Examiner Nomination Portal

Notification will be made to users once they are available for use again.

We apologise that you will be unable to access these services during this time, if you have any queries please email caquery@essex.ac.uk.

[Service Alert] Issue with Office 365 calendar timetables earlier today

Earlier today we experienced an issue with teaching timetables in Office 365 which meant that you may not have been able to see the title of timetabled events between 9.00am and 11.50am.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you at the time.

This issue has since been resolved.

[Alert] Loss of analogue phones at Colchester campus

Investigating, 12:30pm

People who use an analogue phone in Colchester will find there is a problem with it right now, affecting inbound calls to campus. Outbound calls may also be affected including calls made from a lift.

An engineer is on their way to site now.
