[Resolved] Mailshot and subscription-based mailing list issues

Update 15:20

This issue has now been resolved. All messages sent via the mailshot system and messages sent to subscription list recipients are now being sent as expected and the backlog has been cleared.

Update 10:45

We believe this issue has now been resolved and any queued messages to subscription lists or via the mailshot system are automatically being sent out this morning. We will provide a further update when the backlog of messages has been cleared and the systems are fully back to normal operation.

We are currently experiencing some issues with both our mailshot and subscription list systems. This means that all messages sent to mailshot recipients and those sent to subscribers of any Essex subscription-based mailing lists (such as smallads) are not currently being delivered. We are looking into the cause of these problems and will post an update as soon as it has been fixed.

The University of Essex will moderate comments and there will be a delay before any posts appear.

The Essex Software Hub applications service is experiencing issues

This issue has now been resolved. If you are still experiencing issues with launching applications from the Essex Software Hub please contact the IT Helpdesk.

We are currently experiencing issues with software provision via the Essex Software Hub (AppsAnywhere) service. This will affect many computers on campus and will result in software applications not launching correctly and/or crashing. IT Services staff have been in contact with our support partners for this service and hope to have a resolution to this issue as soon as possible.

 

 

The University of Essex will moderate comments and there will be a delay before any posts appear.

[Resolved] Issues affecting FASER

Update 15:17

FASER should be back to normal service now.

We will continue to monitor the service in case there are any further issues.

Users will experience slow connections to faser.essex.ac.uk at the moment.

We are currently investigating the cause, and hope to return to normal service as soon as possible.
