[Service Alert] Problem with logging on to PCs

Update 09.40

The problem has now been resolved.

Please restart your computer and then log in as normal.

If your computer is stuck at the login screen you will need to turn your computer off and on again – press and hold the power button for a few seconds until it switches off, and then boot up as normal.


Update 09.30

The fix is taking a little longer than expected so please bear with us.

Please note this problem does not affect computers that are locked – you should still be able to unlock your screen using your username and password.

The next update will be at 10am if not sooner.

We are currently experiencing a problem with logging in. Our Systems team have identified the cause and are working on a fix to resolve the issue.

We expect the issue to be resolved in the next 10-15 minutes.

This is the result of works carried out during our routine network at risk period which occurs every Tuesday 7am-9am.
