Our newly formed Student Information Team are getting ready to move to the Silberrad Student Centre.

Our new Silberrad Student Centre is nearly complete.

For those who have left Colchester Campus for the summer, the Silberrad will be up and running and open to students by the time you get back.

For our over-summer-campus-dwellers, its worth knowing that the staff teams taking residence in the new building will be packing up their desks and moving at the end of July.

The main moves will happen over two consecutive weekends, meaning service disruption should be minimal. Teams will pack their desks by the Friday and a moving team will transport everything to the new offices ready to be unpacked and operational by the following Monday or Tuesday.

The new building will officially open to students on 4 August.

Moving dates:

  • Phase 1: Friday 24 July – Monday 27 July
  • Phase 2: Friday 31 July – Tuesday 4 August
Our IT helpdesk team will move in phase 1 adn will be up and running in the Silberrad Centre by mid-day on Tuesday 28 July.

Moving can bring its own unforeseen hiccups so your patience is appreciated while our teams set up in their new homes.
