Colleagues from Linkoping University in Sweden visited our Colchester campus to find out more about how we use new technology in our teaching, learning, communications and the transfer of information.
A 12-strong team from the University, including its Vice Chancellor and a representative from the Leadership Foundation, met with our Learning and Development and Information Systems Services teams to learn more about how we use our virtual learning environment, Moodle, Listen Again, IT pods and other technological learning aids.
The visiting delegates also heard about how we are developing an integrated e-submission, feedback and assessment system that will deliver feedback to students in an easier and more engaging way.
The visit, which was organised by the Leadership Foundation’s International department, was a great opportunity to share knowledge and best practice in this fast developing area.
Linköping University was granted full university status in 1975 and is now one of Sweden’s largest academic institutions
